A cosmetic laser treatment company has made a £559,000 investment in its first UK clinic in Leeds.

Élan Laser Clinics offers a range of personalized laser and skin treatments, combining medical-grade technology with a luxury spa experience.

The 1,500 square foot retail premises at The Springs, Thorpe Park, has undergone a £156,000 makeover to create five treatment rooms as well as a reception and retail area.

The new clinic offers a range of laser treatments from laser hair removal and tattoo removal to facials, skin rejuvenation, fat freezing and body contouring. It also offers a selection of laser devices from brands such as Candela and Alma.

The new venture, led by founder and chief executive Anna McCartney, was launched last month following a multi-million pound investment from international investors.

Based in Leeds, it initially aims to open ten clinics across the UK by the end of 2022, creating around 70 jobs.

Anna McCartney said: “It’s really exciting to see how well received the Élan concept is in the UK. Our inaugural clinic in New South Wales, Australia, which opened last October, is also off to a good start and we are looking forward to rolling out a number of clinics in both countries in the coming months. »
